SUBMITTING A WORKORDER

All incoming jobs should have a completed "CTP Request Form" or "Film Output Request Form", faxed or emailed before we can begin work on your job. You can download the form you need from one of the links below.

1. Next, stop into Service Typographers with your job and file(s).

OR

2. You can upload your file(s) to
our FTP server on the FTP UPLOAD page.

OR

3. E-mail a message addressed to orders@servtype.com and attach the files ("Collect for Output" i.e. placed graphic files and fonts used in document) as a compressed archive (i.e.: Stuffit Deluxe, WinZip, or PKZip). The entire file transferred should be no larger than 10mb. When sending us a file please be sure to communicate with our personnel for notification of incoming mail and please fax
(719-578-0900) us output specifications, on one of our forms.

SOFTWARE LIST

This is a list of software applications which we support. Service Typographers maintains the latest version of these software applications. We are willing to output from most word processing applications that may be unstable and erratic when imaging to our high resolution imagesetters. There will be a charge for the extra system time.

TURNAROUND TIMES

Deadlines must be clearly communicated and written on one of our request forms. Our standard turnaround time is 24 hours. If a job is needed sooner we will do our best to meet the deadline. Please call in advance to inquire about a Rush turnaround.

TO ENSURE EXPEDIENCE WITHIN THE 24HR TURN AROUND PERIOD, PLEASE AVOID THESE TYPICAL PROBLEMS IN YOUR FILES.

PICKUP & DELIVERY

An $8.00 delivery charge will be applied for each pickup and/or delivery. If a job is to be delivered by a Service Typographers courier, please mark the "deliver to:" on one of our request forms under the "Special Instructions" section and include the whole address the job is to be delivered to.

SHIPPING

Service Typographers offers UPS, FedEx. and US Priority Mail overnight shipping services. Please request at the time of order if you would like us to ship your job via one of these carriers. It is very important to provide shipping address information to us, preferably, under "Special Instructions" on one of our request forms, including name, account number, address, city, state, zip, and telephone number or any special instructions.
